Simple cooking instructions for great tasting meals from Romano's Market to your table.

CABBAGE ROLLS: When cooking cabbage rolls, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook for one hour using a covered dish with some kind of moisture in the pan.

CHICKEN PATTIES: It is recommended that you freeze the patties for a half hour before you cook them. If baked preheat oven to 350 degrees let cook for 35 minutes. If broiled put on high for about 10 minutes on the first side and 6-7 minutes on the secnod side. If grillling/frying put chicken in a pan, when chicken turns white flip it over and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.

CORNED BEEF: Place corned beef in a pan and cover with water completely. Bring water to a boil, reduce heat to simmer. Simmer for 1 hour per pound (up to five pounds). You cannot over cook corned beef. 1 hour before corned beef is done add potatoes, carrots, turnips, and onions. Half hour before corned beef is done slice cabbage into wedges add cabbage. DO NOT HARD BOIL CORNED BEEF.

MARINATED STEAK TIPS: When broiling/grilling marinated tips, cook for 7 minutes on the first side, 5 minutes on the second side. For medium rare add a couple extra minutes.

PIN WHEELS: When broiling/grilling pinwheels, cook for ten minutes on each side. If broiling get as close to heat as possible.

STUFFED CHICKEN: When cooking stuffed chicken first preheat the over to 350 degrees. Cook it in a covered dish for one hour. It is recommended that you put some kind of liquid on the chicken, such as italian dressing.

STUFFED PEPPERS: When cooking stuffed peppers preheat the over to 350 degrees. Cook for one hour using a covered dish. Add a little water at the bottom of the pan, or top with tomato sause for a tasty treat.

STUFFED PORK CHOPS: When cooking stuffed pork chops, preheat the over to 350 degrees.Cook for one hour. Cover for the first half hour, and uncover for the second half hour. You can either use a covered dish or aluminum foil.

TURKEY: Plan for bird to be done (1)hour ahead of meal for leeway. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place bird in roasting pan. Rub skink with oil and cover loosely with aluminum foil. Place in oven using the chart below as a guideline.
